Thornhill Arts are running
their highly successful annual Summer Art Competition again this
year. The organiser of the event has been in touch with the group
leader of the U3A Art Groups who meet in Dumfries and Lockerbie.
The closing date is Friday, 3rd
September. Winning entries and a selection of other entries
will be exhibited in Thomas Tosh in Thornhill from 18th September to
29th September 2010.
The
competition is sponsored by Dumfries and Galloway College,
University of Glasgow (Dumfries Campus) and Thomas Tosh. The
prize for the winning entry in the Adult Category is £200.
Entry forms are available in Dumfries at Gracefield Arts Centre,
Midsteeple and Artastic in Friars Vennel, and also at Thomas Tosh in
Thornhill.
